Good news for PM-Kisan Nidhi beneficiaries! Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 10 cleared the 17th installment of PM-Kisan Nidhi for farmers, signing his first file of his third term in the Prime Minister’s Office.
It is expected that crores of farmer beneficiaries will receive the amount in their bank account by the end of this month.

After signing the file, PM Modi said “Ours is a government fully committed to Kisan Kalyan. It is therefore fitting that the first file signed on taking charge is related to farmer welfare. We want to keep working even more for the farmers and the agriculture sector in the times to come.”
More than 9 crore farmers in India had received Rs 2000 as the 16th installment of PM Kisan Yojana and now it is expected that these beneficiaries will soon receive the 17th installment. The Centre releases Rs 6000 in a year in three equal installments to eligible farmers under the PM Kisan Yojana.
